I saw the price on this product via a web search and I had a look, still not believing the price I took the decision to purchase. Excellent decision by me (patting myself on the back). It arrived well packed, it was in great ‘used’ condition. I’m using this every day and I can’t fault it. I will purchase from here again when the need arises.

The docking station is all up and running, however I didn’t realise that there was no usb-c port.

Device as described. Allows me to use my laptop as a desktop PC but unfortunately my usb-c port doesn't support the display port so I can't use the G5 dock 100%.

Very practical, perfectly compatible with my HP EliteBook 850 G8. Even computers with a conventional charging port like the HP EliteBook 850 G8 can be powered and recharged via the dock's USB-C cable, which I think is really the beauty of it: you only need to plug in one cable in the morning. My two external screens, my keyboard, my mouse, my Ethernet cable, everything plugs into the dock, which is quite compact despite all the connectivity. It's also perfectly silent, and if it needs cooling, it's only passive.

So far it's going great, in the days I've been using it I haven't had any problems.

Overall I'm very happy with this docking station. It keeps my desk clean, the connectivity is solid, and my laptop runs perfectly with multiple screens and peripherals connected. The only downside I've experienced was once during a firmware update: everything suddenly stopped - internet, screens, all ports - right in the middle of work. It came back after the update, but that interruption wasn't ideal. Hopefully that was just a one-time thing. In general: great performance, reliable device, and very convenient for daily use.

It does exactly what it is supposed to do. For me, the USB-C cable that came with the dock works fine.
