The 'fair' condition was in fact better than expected. There were a couple of marks on the case where it had been knocked, and some minor scratching that was hardly noticeable. If the laptop had been described as being in good condition, I would have been happy, but the condition based on fair was a great surprise. I am delighted. The marks were only on the external case. Inside, it was spotless and works perfectly.

Laptop in excellent condition all round except battery life a bit short, but then you kind of expect that with used tech items. Price was good and delivery within couple of days even over Christmas 👍

Delivery OK. The laptop shows clear signs of physical damage: scratches, a dented grill, and a loose USB-C port that doesn’t charge while the device is on. The speakers also don’t work. It seems to me that no real repair was done—just a hard drive wipe, a fresh Windows install, and then put up for sale. Very disappointed, a complete waste of time.

I expected it to come in a back market delivery box to be honest but asides that everything is perfect

The laptop said it was in excellent condition however so many small scuffs and visible marks as on the surface, as well as the product arriving just dirty all over. Furthermore an entire 8gb ram missing and battery is clearly not “excellent”. Help centre only offer to return to initiate a full refund or get it “repaired”. I don’t have the time to do any of these as I need the laptop now but it would have been nice to have a partial refund for the lie of the excellent condition of the laptop and the 8gb missing ram. I really liked back market before and purchased my iPhone I’m using now with them but this is ridiculous. I will not be using this site again. Sucks :/
