    Exactly as described and postage much quicker than expected. The chromebook runs very fast and the quality is amazing for the price. I would highly recommend BackMarket if you want a very well refurbished computer

    The computer was not quite reset to factory conditions. It came with a 'Test' user account, which I felt should have been cleared. I also had to reformat to update the OS to Big Sur. I felt that a full clear to ex-factory conditions should be the norm. Physically the computer does not have a mark on it. The main physical issue is that it smells a bit like it's been used in a smokey atmosphere but that is already waning. Came with a new power adaptor. Generally very happy. It should suit my purpose very well.

    I ordered 2 iPads for my grandchildren as Christmas gifts. Both arrived in plenty of time and what appeared to be in excellent condition. Unfortunately, one of the iPads home button seems to stick at times but my grand-daughter doesn’t want it to be returned as she loves it so much. As there is a 12 month warranty we will see how things are over the next few weeks but I am assured that it can be sent back for repair or replacement if necessary.

    Unfortunately I've had two bad experiences in a row with Black Market. I ordered a MacBook Air that had a dead battery. While waiting for this to be returned and refunded and to save time I ordered a MacBook Pro(this review). Sadly bad luck struck twice within a week. I was at first happy to see that the battery was fine and would hold a charge overnight on standby(which the previous laptop would not). However my joy soon turned to unhappyness when I discovered that the camera didn't work. Tried all the fixes on Apple Support but to no avail. I'm very disappointed with the sellers on Black Market. I would have thought that if you are selling a laptop as refurbished and in 'very good condtion' the very least you would do is check that the battery and camera are functioning. It makes me wonder if they really check and refurbish then at all! Perhaps they just buy them in and sell them on again and let any problems be found by the purchaser? I am marking all categories with one star so my rating doesn't appear better than it is, though the appearance, packaging and shipping were all fine.

    Bought a 2017 MacBook Pro. Arrived in good time which was great after my old laptop died. Sadly when trying to boot up for the first time no such luck. Spoke with Apple tech support and as a result laptop being sent back for repair or replacement. Excellent communication from Back Market customer service. My real concern and issue is that when you purchase a product in excellent condition both visually and technically. You’d expect a product to arrive as stated.
