    transaction and process was easy and quick. However, the trade in price offered was half of what was offered. My trade in iPhone was in exceptional condition having been protected in a rugged case and screen protector all its life. I could not see any sign of wear on my traded in phone. Yet the trade in offer was 50% lower because of apparent signs of wear on the sides. I was sent photos of what did not look like my phone IMHO. If you don’t accept the offer, the phone gets sent back to you. There really should be a process to have a 3rd party also check phone condition. Because of this I can’t recommend Backmarket.

    Horrible service. to start off i want to say i’ve bought from back market about 6 times and i’ve been highly satisfied every time - except this time. I paid for next day delivery and it arrived 4 days late, when i tried messaging them about it they just ignored all my messages. and when the phone finally came it had a cheap aftermarket screen instead of a genuine apple one (i understand these phones are refurb - but at least they could use proper replacement parts 😕) and as a side not none of my previous purchases had this issue - the quality of back market has become horrible since they gone proper mainstream - please think twice before ordering as it’s not the service we once love and was used to.
