After spending quite some time transferring data and loading software the laptop suddenly shut off, not shut down, it just went dark..... Not sleep mode, not screen off, just off..... It had been plugged in the day before when it arrived and was not only fully charged but was also plugged in to the charger.... I spent some time trying to get it running again but to no avail. Sent an email to the address on the yellow card that came in the box., no reply yet. So I left it for quite some time to let it settle.... After a good few more attempts to get it to start it was still not working. In the bad old days I would have removed the battery for a minute or two then refitted it and started over, so instead I held the power button for quite a while longer than usual. a lot longer. Then waited a minute or two and tried a normal start and would you believe it..... the blessed thing started.. It has behaved ever since , otherwise it would have been sent back for a refund. Please try to reply to customer emails! It's still not the model ordered by the way, it's a Surface 3 not a 4, so what are you going to do about that?

I paid for excellent for my HP laptop I thought it would come almost new but it still had some scratches which I was not expecting. I would I have gone for goo instead of excellent not satisfied, but what is done is done.
