    Avoid Back Market – misgraded products, broken items, and chaotic customer service that wastes your time. I bought a Nintendo Switch listed as “Excellent” but it arrived damaged, which they admitted. I was promised a £20 refund multiple times that didn’t come without chasing. I then found more faults (broken kickstand and faulty Joy-Con), and from there dealt with 15+ different agents across 20+ emails, all giving conflicting answers. I was repeatedly told different things, asked to start again, and even promised extra compensation that never materialised. In the end, despite selling a faulty product, the only real option offered was to send everything back weeks later, or accept a delayed £20 refund (initially given as store credit). A long, frustrating experience with no ownership, no consistency, and no proper resolution. Proceed with caution.
