    I ordered a 2015 13" MacBook Pro (Core i5, 8GB, 256GB SSD) in "good" condition. Upon opening the package, it was immediately obvious that the quality of the MacBook was far below what I was expecting. The case had a number of deep scratches and dents (especially on the corners), the screen was heavily scratched and included what appeared to be a small crack, the keyboard was visibly dirty and covered in grime from a previous user, and the screen hinge felt as though something internal had broken as there was a noticeable amount of free play when the screen was moved in either direction; all of which clearly fell below the criteria for a "good" quality MacBook, as defined by BackMarket. After checking the paperwork included in the packaging, I noticed a hand written serial number, which did not match with the serial number on the MacBook that I received. After contacting the seller, it became apparent that the incorrect MacBook had been received and that I would have to return the product, which I did. Whilst this was obviously a result of some sort of mistake in the process, there a a couple of points I'd like to note. Firstly, in my opinion, the quality of the product was not even "fair". Whilst I can accept that scratches and dents would be part of a "fair" condition laptop, the lack of cleanliness and apparent broken screen hinge made it clear to me that absolutely no refurbishment had taken place on the MacBook I received. As somebody who strongly believes in refurbished products, I have been extremely disappointed by the quality of the laptop I received. So much so, that I chose to completely cancel my order with BackMarket instead of risking the possibility of receiving another poor quality MacBook. Nonetheless, the returns and refund process was very efficient.

    I was very sceptical about used devices, I just decided to give it a try. My Mac book Air 13.3- inch 2017 came in at exactly the 3rd day of purchase. Working beautifully well, my only challenge is the scratches are more than expected. And the Siri is always busy. Apart from that all other thing is working fine.
