    Thank you for the proverbial chocolate tea pot!!! I have just opened the Mac unfortunately it isn’t working or at least I can’t find out if it is working! It has been sent with a European plug but no adapter rendering it quite useless. It’s an easy fix I know but the lack of attention to detail is quite poor really. I will expect a uk wire through the post and I would expect no less than next day delivery!!!!

    Just used Backmarket for the first time to buy a MacBook Air for the kids. I got a 2017 model described as being in excellent condition. And that’s exactly what I have got - it is in excellent condition and looks and feels almost brand new. The battery is 85% and lasts a good long time. I have had 1 issue, which has been pretty annoying in that the laptop was delivered without a charger. I told Backmarket who were very apologetic and they arranged for the seller to send me one which took 5 days, and when it arrived had a European plug on it. Luckily I had a spare UK plug which I can use. So not very impressed with that aspect but am very happy with the laptop.
