I'll be honest here, I bought this in a slightly less than sober state, but I'm SO glad that I did. As a connoisseur of older laptops, I knew what I was getting. For £99 you absolutely cannot go wrong. It's DDR4 and I had some extra memory knocking about so now it's 16Gb rather than the single channel (my only gripe) 8Gb. Also upgraded the SSD to 500Gb although, the original worked completely fine but I wasn't interested in Chrome OS. Now it dual boots Windows 11 and Linux Mint. As for the condition. I bought a "fair" condition unit, although I'm going to give it "good" status due to only a few scuffs on the outer shell of you really look for them! Opening up this solid laptop does require both hands as it's so well built (thanks for carrying on the tradition from IBM, Lenovo!) The keyboard is sublime for a laptop this age, with hardly any flex to the chassis at all. Everything checks out as genuine and functional, even down to the fact that when I opened it up to upgrade with spares I had... It was so CLEAN inside, even the fan looked factory fresh which is always a worry when buying old laptops. I didn't have to worry. Delivery stated that I'd get this in around 6 days. Nope. Ordered one evening, was sent the next day, day after that it was in my grasp in the morning. All with full tracking. So my synopsis is... I got an absolute bargain and I will use it often when out and about. The size of the 14" screen that I thought would bother me (720p max) does not at all after using 15.6" laptops for years. This is a very capable, amazingly priced, properly looked after and refurbished item and would recommend it to anyone.

Condition was scored 'fair' but I can't see why - looks brand new. Everything functioning very well so far. I've had Think Pads beforee and know them to be very well built - which was part of the appeal. Battery life was obviouly going to be better in a new machine but this still seems to manage about 4-5 hrs normal use and I'm perfectly happy with that. Overall I'm delighted - this was to replace a very old Acer Chromebook and it's doing it with aplomb. Brill concept - keep em coming.

It was delivered sooner than expected, and the condition was better than expected! It looks almost brand new. Setup was quick and simple, and it just works. The battery life isn't amazing but good enough, you get a few hours. The screen is also just OK, with slightly limited viewing angles, so probably not ideal for multiple people to watch something. It's an ideal basic laptop for everyday tasks, and the price feels like a bargain.

hi very pleased with my Thinkpad however the pound sign does not work and find it difficult to copy and paste.

PC was okay but didn't come with the graphics card mentioned in the description. I was given a 10% refund as a result but I can't suggest buying electrical goods from here again unless their parts cannot be removed.

not used it a lot yet, but the condition was as new - not a mark on it - should have bought two !!

Just what i was looking for to replace an older chromebook which could no longer be updated.

Works great with Ubuntu.

Tad bit slow when it comes to complex task.
