Deceptive Practices — Avoid This Seller! I purchased a phone from Techmanic Ltd through Back Market, listed as “excellent” condition. What I received was anything but. The phone arrived already set up, bypassing the normal first-time setup screen — a red flag. Even more concerning, the phone was in dark mode, and when I switched to light mode, I saw clear glue leakage around the screen edges — a known issue that leads to screen failure ("glue gate"). To make matters worse, I ordered a 128GB model and was sent a 256GB one instead — which may sound like an upgrade, but to me, this looked like an attempt to offload a problematic device. The fact that it was pre-set in dark mode seems like a deliberate move to hide visible screen defects during setup. This entire experience feels highly deceptive and completely unprofessional. I will not be buying from Techmanic Ltd again, and I would strongly advise others to avoid this seller.
