Phone screen keeps getting stuck and is unresponsive

I sent the phone back for a refund, but the reconditioner refused because the phone had a crack on the back which was already there when I received it the first time. I can understand that, but he refuses to even do the repairs. I wonder what the one year insurance is for. Big disappointment, I find it with a phone that works halfway and I'm going to have to pay to have it repaired.
