I have used Black Market previously and for the first time I can’t give a 5 star review. the MacBook has a chip on the side of the casing that shows both sides of the screen bezel - to me this doesn’t qualify for excellent condition. In all other regards usual excellent delivery, high quality product fully restored and good to go on the current MacOS.

After a nightmare experience with one I bought a couple of months ago (and had to return), this time it was all good. The item arrived faster than expected (ie next day) and looks to be in as-new condition. Had a few issues setting it up but that was just down to the usual software quirks. It's now up and running and is excellent, reminding me of how much I miss these lightweight little Macbook 12s and wish Apple would launch an updated one.

Purchased the MacBook to replace an identical one I had that the mother board had gone, so cheaper to buy than repair. Purchased the 'Excellent' level model, so would expect good quality case and battery life. First impression was not great as case has little chipped out/dented metal parts all around its circumference, especially the back edge. When received and switched on the battery was at 30%, already a little concerned as that made me think that the battery was not holding its charge. Also the battery drains very quickly compared to what I was use to with my identical (now broken) MacBook. I would not have cared so much about the above, but I did pay the extra for the version that was classed as excellent and at best I would rate it as good. Wish I paid less for that option now, a risk that did not pay off. Will live with it, but a little disappointed tbh.

The quality of this refurbishment is astounding! Next day delivery included with expected time slot (nice one DPD - excellent service) 1 cycle on the battery so it must’ve had a replacement battery. Minimal marks across it. In great condition. I’m very happy with it!

Really happy about my purchase. Arrived in excellent condition, like new. The initial installation was pretty slow compared to new laptops but after that it's been performing perfectly. Laptop arrived much much earlier than what I was expecting which was fortunate as I cracked the screen of my main laptop the night before it arrived. Overall, really happy and would definitely buy another laptop through them. Thanks so much

Yes I’m happy with my purchase however I did get a notification on the screen alerting me “ that your computer has detected a potential problem” and this file (eficheck.dump) appeared also. I will update to the highest OS and see if it sorts itself out. Mark

I ordered what was meant to be a fully refurbished Macbook, but I couldn't even set up what arrived as the keyboard had a major problem - the letter L was totally non-functional. Tried to phone Back Market but no number to be found. Finally found a phone number for the seller, Tech Tiger, and after multiple attempts got to speak to someone who suggested I return it to them for a replacement. I did this but many messages later was told they didn't have one and would refund me. Days later no refund so emailed again and was offered another replacement with different spec (seriously?) Given that I paid with Klarna, it's all getting very complicated. Tried to contact Back Market today via their "Unhappy? Contact Us" link but it's not working. Never again. The seller has also told me again I will be refunded but no money. has come back yet.
