Blood oxygen
Apple Watch Series 6’s blood oxygen sensor is made up of four LED clusters and four photodiodes, which have all been incorporated into the completely redesigned back crystal. Easily take readings of your blood oxygen or let the watch capture background readings, to provide this key indicator of your overall wellness.

Sleep well
Set and achieve your personal sleep goals with the new Sleep app – it’s been designed to help you establish a regular bedtime routine and keep track of your sleep trends night after night.

Workout detection
Apple Watch can tell when you’ve started a work out – it’ll alert you to fire up the Workout app. Handily, the Watch will credit you for the exercise you’ve already, so there’s no hard done by feelings.

Dive in
The Apple Watch Series 6 is water resistant to 50 metres, so there’s no need to remove it when you’re swimming.

Live a healthier life
The Series 6 monitors your heart rate throughout the day, so you can quickly and easily keep track. If the watch detects any unusually high or low heart rates, it will alert you — even when you don’t feel symptoms.

Additionally, your Apple Watch Series 6 comes with an always-on barometric altimeter, so your new wrist-based coach can keep continuously track your elevation changes in real time.

Super cellular
You can still stay in the loop, even when you’re away from your iPhone, thanks to your Apple Watch Series 6’s cellular feature. With the Apple Watch Series 6, you can make calls or send text directly from your wrist. (Please note: a cellular service is required for this feature to operate.)

• Apple Watch Series 6 have a water resistance rating of 50 meters under ISO standard 22810:2010. This means that they may be used for shallow-water activities like swimming in a pool or ocean. However, they should not be used for scuba diving, waterskiing, or other activities involving high-velocity water or submersion below shallow depth.
• Blood Oxygen app measurements are not intended for medical use, including self-diagnosis or consultation with a doctor, and are only designed for general fitness and wellness purposes.
• The ECG app and irregular rhythm notification require the latest version of watchOS and iOS, and are not intended for use by people under 22 years old. The ECG app is available on Apple Watch Series 4 or later (not including Apple Watch SE). The irregular rhythm notification is not designed for people who have been previously diagnosed with Afib.
• Apple Watch Series 6 (GPS + Cellular) can use a cellular connection for Emergency SOS. To use Emergency SOS on an Apple Watch without cellular, your iPhone needs to be nearby. If your iPhone isn’t nearby, your Apple Watch needs to be connected to a known Wi-Fi network and you must set up Wi-Fi Calling.
• The international emergency calling feature requires an Apple Watch Series 6 (GPS + Cellular) model.
