iPhone 11 Pro vs iPhone X Comparison

The iPhone 11 Pro versus the iPhone X - are they really that different?

Let’s start with the basics, these two phones have a very similar appearance, and they’re virtually the same size, both around 144 x 71 mm with less than 1 mm between them. The iPhone 11 Pro does weigh a little more - at 188 grams, it weighs 14 grams more than the iPhone X. Both also have a 5.8-inch screen, but let’s see how they differ.

The iPhone 11 Pro – sharper and brighter with longer battery life

As a newer model, you’d expect the iPhone 11 Pro to have some improvements on the iPhone X, and you get them. The iPhone 11 Pro has an A13 processor compared to the A11 on the iPhone X, and it offers fast charging, 50% in 30 minutes. But where it really stands out is the camera. It has a 12 MP triple-lens rear camera with an ultra-wide angle lens and night mode for taking excellent photos in all kinds of lighting. The front camera is also 12 MP. The Super retina XDR display makes the iPhone 11 Pro much brighter than the iPhone X, which only has a Super Retina HD display.

The iPhone X – great at what it does

Compared to the iPhone 11 Pro, you might not think that the iPhone X has much to offer, but you’d be wrong. It just depends on how much you’ll use the tech. The iPhone X is still fast with an A11 processor, and it still takes great pictures with its dual 12 MP rear camera with wide-angle lens and 7 MP front camera. Ok, your selfies won’t be quite as perfect, nor will your night lighting, but how often will you use them? The 5.8-inch display is still pretty awesome for its generation, and many cameras offer less. The difference in battery life works out at around 30 minutes less for the iPhone X. Both models cost around £1,000 on release, and you can get a great deal on a refurbished model now. A refurbished phone is always a great deal, and the iPhone X will cost less than the iPhone 11 Pro.

Which is best?

While the iPhone 11 Pro might come first in terms of specs, only you can decide which phone is right for you. Will you hate the extra weight? Will the iPhone 11 Pro blow your budget? Does the iPhone X offer everything you need? All valid points. Happy deliberations!
